Business Tax Deduction
The Food Bank of Alaska provides a receipt for all donations and maintains industry standard inventory procedures. The 1976 Tax Reform Act allows businesses to deduct costs associated with donating food to nonprofit organizations such as Food Bank of Alaska. Visit the IRS website for more information on tax deductions for charitable donations.
